Sandy — Your Personal Email Assistant

An email based electronic personal assistant.

Sandy — Your Personal Email Assistant: ”

Email-based ‘personal assistant’ from Values of N, the makers of Stikkit. Sign up for a free account and you get a unique email address, to which you send commands like ‘Remind me I have a marketing meeting on 3/14 at 1-2pm’.

This sounds just plain stupid to me without an accompanying web interface or desktop client. In fact, in just sounds plain stupid to me anyway. When do I use an email client when I can’t also get access to some kind of ‘to do list’.

I’ll agree that the next improvement calendar software needs is to be able to reach me wherever I am to instruct me on my next appointment or to-do. I’ve used a PDA until now and google will send you SMS-messages.

I’ll be curious to see where this Sandy thing will go.
