AFP for iPhone and iPod touch

November 11, 2007 · No Comments

I did the 1.0.2 update of my ipod touch. I get the add button for calendar, but still can’t sync back to itunes somehow. I found the settings in iTunes for which calendar to put the appointments, so I guess it’s supposed to work.

Might be my user profile. I’ll try this on a clean profile soon.

In the mean time, this is kind of cool:

AFP for iPhone and iPod touch: “Insanely awesome iPhone hacker and developer ‘Core’ just finished implementing AFP for the iPhone and iPod touch. This software connects your iPhone (or touch) to your computer using AFP, the AppleTalk Filing Protocol. Your iPhone shows up on your desktop as a disk with full read/write access.”

(Via The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW).)

Now when am I getting wireless syncing dammit!
