The idiots over at Canon have not yet seen fit to update the drivers to my one year old Canoscan Lide 60 Scanner for Leopard.
Very annoying. It works, ‘kinda’. Keep getting ‘could not load driver’ or some such bull shit.
Come on Canon, get your ass in gear!
I wouldn’t be surprised if they just never updated this thing at all. After all, a one year old scanner! Get rid of that thing, just buy a new one. Except, there probably aren’t any drivers for those either.
Getting totally screwed. With Canon, you can.

I am experiencing problems with my Lide 70, which isless than a year old. It works with Image Capture, but the Canon Scanning Interface does not work or even start.
A Canon support person told me that she found it unlikely that it would be updated seen the fact that the driver had only been developed quite recently.
I need the scanner badly. If there is no driver available soon, I will buy a new one - Epson - which are compatible.

Wow Guido thanks for the update. Canon really sucks. As of today there are no 10.5 drivers available on their site.
It really shows the difference between a company that cares about customers and one that really, really doesn’t. It still annoys the hell out of me.
If got this obscure sound card from Roland, the UA-1000. There were drivers for 10.5 the day Leopard came out. Now that’s service. I’d buy from Roland again.
